I haven't been logged on since March of 07. Shame on me. I love it here and everyone seems to be very helpful. I hope I remember how to do this and attach the photo I need help with. I bought this rock because it had a number of different growths on it including this big round red/brown object in the center of the photo. It is almost 2" in diameter and about 4" long. It is semi-ridged but does sway some in the current of my tannk. I love it but can't find out what to call it. Anyone out there with any ideas?? also, please look at the coral in foreground. The are also brown. Do they look ok to you? I can't tell and haven't had them long enough to detect any growth etc. Thanks in advance for your input. Calabashman

Its actually a simple invertebrate. It is a red tunicate...or eudistoma red condominium tunicate. It is very similar to a sea squirt, filtering waste particles from the water. Nice hitchhiker!
