I am starting a 54 gallon corner tank (saltwater). I would like to maximize the amount of fish without using live corals preferably with smaller fish . I have a few freshwater tanks this will be my first saltwater

I recommend you start with macro algae usually in a refugium. Which can be just an in tank partition
