looking for kind people

Im a college guy on a budget..im trying to get my reef tank up and kicking, I have tried the local reef club for frags, i got 2 shrooms now Im asking you guys, does anyone have any frags they would be willing to send me?? of course ill pay shipping, please let me know, ill take anything someone has to offer-- thanks alot jake
ps== i do have adequate tank conditions and lighting to handle about anything someone sends

Hi Jake,
This hobby is very expensive. It takes alot of money to keep a tank maintained. The more you add to your tank, the more you will have to spend for maintenance. Perhaps you should just leave things alone for now, and buy things as you can afford them. Just something to think about

i'd like to trade some shrooms with you if you would like some different ones. i also have a colt frag that's growing pretty good that i should be ready to frag before long. here's the shrooms i have..

I though about trying to do something like this awhile back ago.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could all get together and send each other frags and such!!!
The biggest problem is the freight. It would cost more than the frags themselfs.
I suggest finding people near you to trade with.
You could also split the cost of ordering things online.
As Zari said (and welcome to the board) it is an expesive hobbie.

hey dad! that's what's so good about mushrooms though, because i read somewhere (i think on garf.org) that for mushrooms, you can just bag them up, put them into a small film container (like kodak), and put them in a padded envelope and send them through regular mail.

I'll look into it some tonight and see what info I can find though.
