Looking for more info on this anemone...

I got it at the LFS about a week ago. The first three days it constantly moved about the tank, and finally settled down near the skimmer output of all places -.- ..

It has been there ever since and my two perc clowns have taken quite well to it, and there is always at least one of them in it!
My questions were fairly basic. I have tried feeding it mysis shrimp and it hasn't been accepting it. Before I bought it they fed it some brine and it was all over it, should I look into getting some of that for it instead? or try shredding up the mysis?
Second, today it has been a bit down on its size, about 1/4 of what it is in the picture above. The color is still just as vivid, but the small size has me worried that it doesn't like being aggitated by the clowns. Any ideas? It just expelled waste/water and refilled two days ago so surely its not that again this soon? or how often do they do that?
Third.. I forgot the name of this one. can anyone id it for me from that pic? (Plus who knows if it was IDed right at the LFS)

Welcometo SWF
Looks like a bubble tip...rose color...
what type of lighting do you have? How old is your tank? Better yet...why not tell us EVERYTHING about the tank...including what lives in it

ah sorry, It's been a long day. The tank is a 30 gallon thats been setup since July. ~4" substrate of crushed coral, tankmates include the two percula clowns a watchman goby, flame angel, tiger pistol shrimp, and the clean up crew. Lighting is T5HO, and my skimmer is the corallife for up to 65 gallons. LR of ~ 45lbs for now.
FWIW they had a couple other bubble tips in the same tank at the LFS, and unless they were just babies compared to this one, looked nothing like this. under normal lighting with no actinic it looks orange only, the actinic brings out the blue and green hues, and its coloration has become much more prominent since I got it home. Granted I just now looked it up on google and yaeh it def looks like a rose bubble anemone! Thanks for the ID!
That's the only thing that has kept me from taking it back and calling it a day. Most of what I had read seems to point to anemones loosing color when they aren't doing well and moving around lots. This one has shown neither sign yet.
Also thanks for the welcoming!

Most anemones need Excellent lighting...how many bulbs do you have?
also anemones should be put in tanks that are a minimum of 6 months old...with excellent water quality.
Don't try to force it to eat...only feed it once a week...I feed mune small pieces of raw scallop...

3 bulbs currently. 2 normal lighting and one actinic. Last thing I read about feeding mentioned that they seem to like things about 1/4" in size. any truth behind that? I'll cut back its feeding to once a week then, so far its only eaten a single shrimp peice since I've had it, and I'm not positive that it ate that...

3 bulbs...hmmmm....how many watts, I would be more worried about the amount of light....my T5HO light on the 29G has 4 bulbs ...I don;t have an anemone in this tank though...lol
as far as food size, IMO it would depend on the size of the anemone.....

Here is some info I found: In order for the Rose Bubble Tip Anemone to keep its bright coloration and bulb tips, it needs strong illumination supplied by metal halides, or intense florescent lighting of at least 6 watts per gallon. If the lighting is insufficient, they will expand their bodies to great lengths to make the most of the available light. It should be kept with a Clownfish for best results. At times, the tentacles may appear stringy; this may be due to insufficient light or the need for food. they can reach up to 12 inches and need a minimal tank size of 30 gallons...

hmm, so insufficient lighting can make it contract, as well as make it expand to great lengths to capture light? that's annoying lol. How about the in between, its tenticles are still fairly fat, but it's surface area is much smaller than the picture above.. (I went down earlier and would have sworn it was trying to eat one of my clowns had I not seen him come out!! LOL)
also I am currently at 3-4watts per gallon (with a rough guestimate of what is in the tank based on water changes) Any suggestions on lighting to get what I need? Without blowing a paycheck on it preferably :p
My dad has already offered to let me make use of one of his 500 watt flood lights. Looks the same to me as a metal halide, but somehow I don't think that would accomplish what I need huh? LOL

Feeding should only consist of pcs. of food smaller than it's mouth.
What light fixture do you have? (brand name and length)

The lighting is the Glo 24" dual bulb setup as well as a CF 26 watt that I put up just for the anemone :p.
As far as the flood light from my dads I looked into metal halides a bit more, and actually looks like that would work as long as I got the right kind of bulb. Does anyone know a good place to get bulbs? or for that matter a good way to mount it over the aquarium
Other lighting suggestions still welcome for this
thanks!

the main thing about ligting is not only the wattage, it is the color spectrum of the lights, a standard flood like is likely not high enough on the Kelvin scale to be a worthwile addition. BUT research it and see if you can get one within the normal spectrums for a tank.

I'm going to look into finding a cheap(ish) flourescent setup with 6 bulbs if I can. Aside from that it seems happy enough for now, it still isn't near the full size I saw it that first day (likely it was just straining for light, but the new spot it's found it hasn't been doing that). I suppose the "smaller" size is it's normal size. The tentacles are nice and healthy looking, not bubbled up, but not tinky like when it excretes its water and waste once a week (I think its once a week at least... so far it did it the day I got it and yesterday lol)
It has also been eating now, I think the food bits were still too cold when I was trying to get it to eat. That or it just didn't want anything. I'll restrict its feeding to once per waste drop. It was very cool to watch the clown take random peices of floating shrimp the anemone!
