Looking for small refugium! HOB or In-Tank?!?

I am looking for a small refugium for back-up filtration to my over-sized wet/dry. I was wonderign whether I should get the 5g HOB or the .8g in-tank. Both come with small powerhead for filtration and means of gettign water in and out of the refugium.
also wondering besides a semi-deep (can't get too deep wiht a 16in tall or 12in tall) sand bed and some chaeto. I was lookign at the pictures of them and it shows some live rock in them. Should I put some rubble in?

you have a sump? what i did was put a 2.5g tank in my 30g sump. ill post pictures tomorrow of my whole set up

bigger is better. imo go with a sump style fuge and get the largest you can fit under there.

Well I only want a small one because as stated I already have a wet/dry (proclear 150 and skimmer) filter. Also I found this as the cheapest sooo that's why I thoguht it would be the best.

build one iys not that hard. I had a w/d for a year and adding the fuge made more of a difference than me adding the w/d
