Im looking for the archive link to cycling, I looked in the arch forum but cant find it. after two grulling weeks my tank is cycled

just need to double check the steps.

How did you cycle the tank? 2 weeks is not long enough for a good cycle. Can you run down your steps and we can see if there was anything out of the ordinary?

its a 20g
LS/LR
I used one raw peeled shrimp and waited
tested my perams 3 times a week till they reached:
amonia 0
nitrite 0
nitrate 20
ph 7.8
the only thing that im worried about is the ph level, but its been steady at 7.8 since the first day.

Glad you found the link. What was the highest levels reached by
ammonia
nitrites
niTrates

the highs were:
amonia 1.0
nitrite 2.0
nitrate 80

Did you get any filter material or balls from an established system?

nope it was all a fresh start, however I did get the water from my lfs already mixed (ro right?).
