looking into protien skimmers for a 45g

what kind should i get. im looking for a hang on if possable i do not have a sump. any recamendations will help. thanks.

some like seaclones some dont with hang ons your kinda limited to quality BUT the Remora Skimmers are very nice if you have the el cashoIMO Some hang on skimmers are nice but It depends on the amount you have to spend

You could put on a skimmer at any time. I like the seaclones. Seaclones are not the best nor the most expensive either so you do get what you pay for.

the old saying comes into effect you get what you pay for i got a red sea prizm skimmer works good but i got a great deal from my lfs who had it a while and no one really buys saltwater stuff from them i had my eye on the aquasea remora though from what i heard it is a good skimmer and imo not to expensive at all
