They are pretty messy fish, they'll kick up sand, they can be very territorial. I don't have personal experience with a 4 line, but I'd imagine the behavioral patterns would be close to the same. I dunno if I were you I'd still try it.

Well I want either a six or a four line, I just cant make up my mind, everyone says their basicially the same.

i have a ruby fairy wrasse and a leopard wrasse and all is fine i had a mystery wrasee as well but he went back after he killed 3 shrimp

ya Ive got an exquisite wrasse that owned my cleaner shrimp.

I would call the 4 & 6 line the same with just a color diffrence.
I have had both and they both seem to have identical personalities.
The reason I say go for the 4 the 6 is just so common. After being in the hobby for a while and I'm sure most people would agree.
Having something diffrent is part of the thrill of of keeping the tank!
Maybe its just me and my area but I have only seen 3 4 lines in 5 years and one is in my tank.

This is my sixline story. First let me say I have a sixline on steroids. He is the biggest sixline I ever had. That being said, I introduced a Fridmani Pseudochromis, which was as I read able to take care of himself well the sixline chased him into hiding and I did not see him for months gave up on him. To my amassment he reappeared and is doing well. Next came a Ocellaris Clownfish, the sixline would not let him out of the corner of the tank for two days, after that an a few marks on the clown things settled down, he did a job on my Royal gramma and to this day they still go jaw to jaw. Last but not least my Sailfin/Algae Blenny. He can not come out of the corner. God how I hate/love my sixline

He is the acceptation you can get much smaller sixlines

Thats what I figrued Ive seen lots of pictures of sixlines, but none ever that big.
