Looking to get back in hobby again. Have a few questions

I am looking at turning my 20H tank into a "nano-reef". I've had live rock and a couple fish in it for about a year. The live rock barely has any corriline anymore and has quite a bit of hair algae.
My questions are:
1. Should I go ahead and buy new live rock since the rock in my tank is basically base rock at this point?
2. I have bought a power compact 19" light with 2-36w bulbs 1-actinic & 1-10K. I also am buying a CPR BakPak2R with skimmer. What else will I need in addition to my current setup?

well you got to figure out why your live rock died off have you not bin adding your calcium and stuff if thats the case i would say to add the cemicals and live rock you might want to get a skimmer of some kind i dident read your EQ so not sure if you got one the lights sound ok to start with get some crabs and snails too:)

No I havent been adding calcium like I should and have been using tap water for water changes. Not good I know. I just want to make sure I do it right this time. I know that I will need either distilled water or RO water for the reef. I was more just wondering since I have a take full of dead rock if I should just go ahead and refill with fresh live rock, but this time add calcium, and the additives needed.

Do you still have the two fish you talked about, and do you have any other life in the tank?
What type of substrate do you have? Filtration? Equipment?
May be a good time to start over. If your rock is that far gone, I would scrub it down, and add a couple nice pieces to re-seed everything. Is there any life in your substrate (pods, flatworms, bristle worms)?

Right now I only have a percula clown and a damsel. I have the live sand I put in the tank about 3 months ago and the live( well now dead) rock. I plan on only having a CPR baK Pak for a filter. I figure I can reuse the sand and just buy new live rock.
Has anyone bought live rock from www.***********.com ?
