I agree with most everyone. If you hire dependable, knowledgable staff, keep your tanks clean and your fish healthy, and charge average/slightly above avg prices... you're business should thrive.

These days, you have to compete with online stores selling livestock at wholesale prices. To make up for charging slightly higher, make sure you have very good customer service and employees that know what they are talking about. I would recommend having employees read a good saltwater book as part of their training.

Like Darknes said have them study then ask them random ? and have them answer them( quiz them). The thing i really dislike is when i get a "Yea I Thinks Thats Right" anwser.
