Looks like strings of spit??

Thats the only way to explain this.I keep seeing these strings of spit like stuff stringing off the rocks.I've seen it maybe 3x and it's clear and sorts bubbly just like spit.What is it?

O.K. so i just looked them up.They just stay in those tubes?I have a couple of things like that in my LR.I bet thats what they are!Are they anything i should worry about?How do i get rid of them?

pretty much everyone has them there not really a problem. i wouldnt worry about it

theyre ugly though, sos the mucusy stuff. take needlenose pliars and smoosh them. dont do it with your fingers, theyre sharp when they break.
