Hello Loopy!
As mentioned in a previous reply, I was considering asking you what type of writing you do. Do I still need to put that in question form, even though I just mentioned it in the previous sentence?
These are things I'm interested in. Did you get into writing after college, during, or before? Did you get a degree in writing, or something totally unrelated? Do you submit your work to writing journals? How'd you get started and with what type of writing? When submitting work and they ask for a Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, do you send a big envelope with a ton of stamps, or a little one with a .37 center on it? Out of the thousand "How to get published," style books, do you have any recommendations?
Have I asked you enough yet? I could ask more. Feel free to refuse to answer any of the above questions. I'll appreciate anything you have to offer. Also, let me know when you're heading South, so I can vaccum!

So it's okay to talk about ex-girlfriends, GPS systems in cars, and I could go on, but asking someone a question that really has nothing to do with you whatsoever and was in no way intended to be ammunition for griping suddenly does not belong on this forum. So sorry to have caused such a disturbance in your day.

yes it is ok to talk about that stuff in an off topic forum. Its a forum to post and ask questions, and share ideas... not have an ongoing conversation...about pure nothingness.
funny... these types of things USED to get deleted... mods must be a little lax these days.

Nobody prevented you from taking part in this. So how is anyone being singled out? It's not an ongoing conversation and it's not nothingness. None of my posts have warranted your negativity and I didn't start this thread to get in an argument with you. I had a question and I took it to this forum, where it belongs. No one forced you to look at it, and if you don't have anything to offer besides unkind words, you should stay out of it. You're right. This is a forum to ask questions and share ideas and at no point did I do anything that would contradict your definition.

Well this is a discussion about writing and writers, their experience and how to get into it. May not be up your alley, but, IMO I don't see where it is a problem....what, maybe wrong subject?
Mola, work on Titles and Subjects for your punishment. Whip. Whip. Also I would suggest ignoring any bait.
I'll admit to not visiting this forum too much, but so long as this thread has some sort of point I would rather see it here than in threads on the other forums.

Point taken, and that one was closed and hopefully the message of it is taken to heart. However, I would also point out that there is no need to read them either....and certainly no need to imply that the mods aren't doing their job...just some situations take priority. :)

I really strongly suggest not making comments about what other people have put under their occupation, etc. Remember the little flare up in another thread. It does not in any way help this issue...perhaps provides some fuel for his point, actually.
