My starfish has a red dot in the middle of its body and it almost looks as if he has scrathes all over... is this a sign of dying? he is still moving around slowly, but is always is wierd uncomfortable looking positions. whats ig going on? am i being paranoid. he is a blue linckia...

how long have you had it? it could be acclimation shock.
Also what other tankmates do you have with it? there are several types of fish that will pick at starfish.
