Loosing snails left and right

I ordered 25 snails from SWF and 10+ died within 3 days of arrival. The crabs are doing fine though and a few of the snails are still alive.
Did I get a bad batch or is there something going on?

What kind of snails? did you take pics and file a claim? You have 15 days, and they are very good about it.
How is your water temp? and parameters?

Yea I filed a claim and got credit but its crappy cause you have to spend at least $30 in order to even use the credit.
It was the first main clean up crew that I got.
They were the kind that went into the sand as soon as I put them in there, but they were not the sand sifter ones

Specific water parameters? Age of tank? Ever used copper? Any metal fittings in tank? What are symptoms of snails (eg due they fall on back and appear to be unable to move?). How long and how did you acclimate?
