Losing some fish. Need help (pics)

I have a 75 gallon tank that has been setup since june. I have just lost my pork puffer after 15 days of having him. And today lost a tomato clown. Here are some pics if you think there is anything else wrong since i am pronid and need help.

This is my sailfin tang is he has missing skin around his eye in big chunks that is how i bought him thought he was running into the rocks. It really has not gotten better but not worse at all. He is still very happy and eats like a pig.

This is my yellow tang is was one of my fish fish that i added. He was health when i got him. The only thing i notice is there his white strip on his tail fin has a couple of white long thingy attached to it and is only on one side. He scratches himself on the rocks and and from time to time but not really offen. He seams happy and eats like a pig.

Powder brown tang looks health except i see little borwn/black spots on oneside next to his tail fin but there is only a few and did not know if it is just his pigment but he seems happy and eats like a pig as well.

This is the tomato clown that has a white glaze on him but seems to be doing fine and eat as well. I lost the other one that was in worse condition and had cloudy eyes as well. I also have a P. clown and he looks great with no white glaze at all did not if it will catch to him.

This is what i got today and it seems the bottle on the right has formlin in it so i was wondering how i can treat the clown and i do not have a QT set up but i will and for now on have one for each saltwater tank. Learned my lesson and will get a QT for now on. And if case you are wondering i have a 125 gal that i am setup right now for the tangs. I will hypo all fish before they enter and will leave LR for a month in the QT before adding it. Thanks a bunch for the help.

You may have fish infected with more than one disease. It's not my specialty but there are some that can help. Read the link below and see what you can find out. Couple things stick out HLLE or Head and Lateral Line Erosion disease and possibley black ich.
One thing for sure, you can get rid of that airstone. They dont' really do any good in this hobby. Everyone opts for flow and surface agitation with the use of powerheads.

As far as airstone/buble .. you can get rid of that as the other post said, no benefit .. however, you can use it for something else -> Formalin bath for your clown .. to do this you do not need a separate QT .. just a temporary container that large enough for your clown .. see the disease FAQ on how to do this. One thing about your medication, the one in the bottle is not Formalin 3 .. so I don't recommend for you to use this for your bath.
The problem that you may have as a new hobbyist and myself when I was new is add to many live stock at the same/short time. We could not wait to see all those magnificent fishes swimming happily in our tank. Well, this is what crash most of the new hobbyist tank out there, including mine.
Now that you have all those fishes in your tank, what to do? My advice are
1. To setup a QT tank as soon as possible .. I see you have a small tank on top of your DT .. you can start cycling that for your QT.
2. Do NOT throw that medication or any medication in your DT
3. Read the disease FAQ and be ready to handle your fish when it is needed with the right kind of medication.
4. For your sailfin tang skin problem, you can try melafix in your QT (when it is ready).
In the meantime, you may loose some more fishes .. so please don't keep on buying because you will start with this endless cycle of buy and die. Your LFS will love you for your money .. but you will drain you $$$ and give up.
Your tank is still new, I would probably wait another 3 month before considering any new addition. Welcome and good luck.

Ok from what i can tell that the Sailfin does have HLLE since i am seeing more little pits like i said that is how i bought him and did not know. There is no ich that i can see white or black on any fish or anything like the photo in https://forums.saltwaterfish.com/t/127010/diseased-fish-pictures. The clown does have Brooklynella the white glaze but only on one of them. the bottle says formlin on it or contains it and there is no where i can buy formlin just as it is since i only have a ***** and smarts and they suck as is. I am going to try that bottle in that small tank as recommend by Beth. I am also going to start to QT my fish before they enter the main tank. The airstone have been in there forever and i know that it does not do anything thought maybe fish might like them and i helps my anomone more its tentacles and provides some movement in water.
The fish have been added slowly like maybe a little less then a month in between. Like i said i have a 125 gallon that is almost done but i am going to QT and hydro before i place fish in there. Thanks for the replies...

Those airstones are useless for basicaly anything. They will also cause pop eye from what i've read.I would remove them immediately! Then get a powerhead.Of course this is just my newbie 2 cents

Ok guys first of all this thread was about treatment And help, not about those damn airstones!!! For the record not my idea girlfriend wanted them in there and would not take no for an answer so i figure i could live with it instead of listening to her bitching. Ok... Well i have been treating the clown and it is working. I still plan on setting up a QT for all the fish. All of them look happy but just ever now and then they will scratch against the rock. I notice that my lawnmower was doing it as well. Still can not see anything one him or anything like the pics in the FAQ. I know the sailfin tang has HLLE, been feeding him seaweed with fresh garlich on it. My tank is not grounded which i am working on. Anything else you guys can thank of? Also nitrates are pretty high which i do not know why since i have 100lbs rock and alot of that Chaetomorpha. Thanks

I understand that.I just wouldn't want your fish to get pop eye thats all.The bubbles rushing straight up from the air stone can damage your fishes eyes. The rush up as salt water is very dense. It is painful for the fish and can get infected. To much to loose just to keep her from griping and im a woman

Hmm for the nitrates. Are you doing water changes? What kind of water?
Do you have a sump?
The nitrates have to be taken out.It doesn't naturally accure. If you have plants they will take it out to an extent. It could also be coming in in your supply water i guess.

Thanks for the help and sorry for seeming mean and i have nothing against women at all it is just my girlfriend drives me nuts and i will take out the bubbles ASAP just did not think it would hurt them. I am using RO from walmart and buying the salt from petsmart. I have not done a water change in a couple of weeks and will do one. I thought there was aeorbic bacteria that convert nitrates to gas nitrogen. I have alot of the chae but i guess it is not working. I really want to sump but my tank is not drilled and i bought the wrong stand because i can not put anything down there really. I think a 20 will fit but it will be sticking out of the stand as you can see in the pic. What would i need for a sump that is not drilled for one? Also what should i do for my fish in the mean time, i do not see any ich at all. Thanks

They are rubbing the rocks because they are itching from the parasites, sounds like the yt has ich, hypo salinity treatment is the best course of action, i am going through it right know. good luck, be patient. the little white stripe on your yt is a surgeon spike it is his defense weapon, and for your sump just use pvc pipe and use the proper elbo's an t's to make it work

Oh i wasn't taking it as mean at all.I just meant i'm a woman and it would not be worth it to me either

I don't have much more advice really.I'm really new too.I was only stating what i had found in my research.
My guess is your trates are up due to no water changes lately.

Hopefully some of the more knowing others can help you

Well for the yellow tang i know about the white stip it has on the side but in front of the strip i can see little white thingy hang off and there is about like 10 of them. I do not know if i have ich but i know that i do have a parasite somewhere. No fish really show the white or black spots. thanks

Ick looks like little grains of salt, and the only true way to kill ick is to disrupt it's lifecycle

hypo salinity is the only and best way to go chemicals should be avoided for this particular disease
