It depends on the state, but a few weekends ago a guy used a passport of when he was like 5 to have a drink in the bar!!!! It stated his birthday and was valid so they used it. A movie realy shouldn't be an issue!

well i guess i use it. ill see if this hype about 300 is worth it. i cant turn a freakin corner without having somesay "hey man!, did u watch 300 yet?!?!" at school. so imma have to just watch it. well what do u guys think about it?
what do u rate it out of 10? the movie i mean.

I always carry my passport. I think everyone should, its the end all be all in where ID is concerned. They cannot deny it.

well i got my tickets and was about to watch 300. i saw the first few seconds when a gotta call form my friend that they wouldnt let him in because he no proof of age then i just left. yeah i wouldnt watch a movie and ditch my friend. dont u think that this movie rating system is bull? its not even a national law but more as guidelines which movie theaters enforce and is totally voluntary... the world is turning to crap and here we americans who cant show some violence,

, and gore when children all over the world see it everyday(talking about messed up poverty areas ex: parts of africa, philippines. even in the US in the areas of poverty u can see the things in real life that on a movie that would be rated ror even worse. were just stoping teens from seeing the real world. plus with everything they know seeing graphic unappropraite things on a screen wouldnt be anything new to them. its messed up and theres nothing u can do about it...im not saying that kids of all ages should be allowed in rated r movies but rather lower the age a bit to maybe 15ish. im just saying this because i had my share of watching rated r movie b4 17 and hey i turned out normal...
