Lost my Lion Fish :(

Welp came home yesterday from work and went to stare inside my tank like everyday after work and no lion, he is too big to be hiding anywhere in the tank so the first thing I hope is that he just jumped ship. But to my dismay I look over a find him on the ground, all hard and dry :(. He was just about 6 inchs long and welp he was a b-day present for me just about a year ago :(. Poor guy.
Does anyone know why he may have jumped? I saw some rocks sitting on the sand.. is it possible he got scared by the rocks falling and he shot straight up?

the rocks falling idea could very well be the reason. Im unless he just went crazy and started tearing the house up then jumped out...

Yeah but usually when Lions go crazy they bang their heads on the tank till they die.
I think that my Puffer was resting on a rock (lazy ass) and it tipped and scared the Lion. I think that is my final verdict. Thanks :)
