how long will you look for your remote before you manually change the channel?
discuss.
I will look until I find it, I can't stand manually changing the channel and adjusting the volume.

I refuse to ever physically touch the TV. There's a reason for remotes and I'm not about to go back into the 70's (I didn't say 60's because that would probably be pretty awesome).
I have only ever touched the power button. That's it. There's a remote somewhere in the house, and I will morel likely turn everything upside down looking for it than manually change it... also because I know I'll need to find it eventually... why not now?

sometimes i rehide it to make it a new last place i look... or i go hide myself and see if it can find me... but it never does and i end up going and finding it again... one time it wasnt there though and it was in another place and that was the last place i looked...

I actually change the channel pretty quick, and while I'm watching my shows, I also look for it...

See gang, Tizzo is a go getter. There shall be no TV downtime!
Me though, I think I'd just yell for the wife or try and talk one of the dogs into helping me out.

One time I watched wrestling for 3 weeks straight 'cause I couldn't find the remote to change it. It was hard sleeping with that playing in the livingroom.

Good one, took me a second to see the ruaround humor here.

The remote is never lost, unless someone else has touched it!
When my youngest comes home on the weekend from college, I know immediately where it is, if its not at home on the endtable. The only other place it could be is in the cushions of the lazy-boy. though there is usually a cash reward in looking for it, any where from a few cents to a dollar in change right next to it.
