Is there already a Lost thread...if so, this is redundant so delete this one....
If not...lets discuss

Yikes... that show used to drive me nuts. It took me a while to adjust to the show as it is very unique. 2 seasons ago there was a commercial that I thought was a regular commercial but it was a rigged commercial by the show. I went to the website and there was a place to enter a password and it brought up a lot of strange things that lead you to believe is part of the show and the island. It's really hard to explain. Anyone have the website?

I have never seen the website. Probably wont be able to view it at work, but you never know. DO you have the link? I would be interested in seeing it. Because I saw them on dvd/the computer, so I didn't see any commercials

I forget how to get in and it looks as if the sites have changed. the commercial was for the hanso foundation. Really weird.

You have to suspend your disbelief for this show. I had difficulties with this show for a long time but now I'm taking it for what it is. Plus my wife loves it and she lets me watch my sports.
I think that we have been trained for a long time with tv shows that follow the general format of giving us "closure." I've come to really enjoy all the cliffhangers and curve balls. Not to mention the nice eye candy and I'm not talking about the scenery. ;)

i have only watched a couple shows. I wish i had gotten into it when it started, cause i'm for darn sure i'm not going to go buy the first few seasons. I'm sure you'd be "lost" if you started watching the show not knowing what is going on.

Very true. I started day one and we have a DVR. I refuse to buy HBO and will have to watch the last season of Sopranos when it hits DVD.

I've been watching it from the start. It dosen't ever seem to answer any of its questions/like why are there Polar bears on a tropical island and why do they just don't move in to the deserted barracks?

Yup... I quit watching it after season one for fear that it was never going to make sense. Now that ABC has announced it will end in 2010 I'm going to buy the season 2 and catch back up.
Definitely need to start at the begining. The flashbacks are especially a cool idea because if you watch closely you'll often see other cast members in the background as their lives intertwine.
Very interesting storyline. Now that there is a set deadline for the season to end I expect it will get better.

Nice to know there is a timeline now. For a while I thought they were making crap up and didn't even know themselves how it would end. The show had great ratings the first few seasons but has lost a lot of viewers. I

Exactly. I really enjoyed the first season but was afraid they were just making things up as they go. The story/character lines are so woven and complex that I was afraid they were going to get caught in a web that they couldn't spin out of.
Some of the fan sites are insane. If you look at the "airlines" webpage (i can't remember what the airlines was called... like Oceanic or something.) Anyway there was a forum there (around first season) and some rabid fans had even pieced together a seating chart of which survivors sat where...

i like the show, but some episodes just make me wonder what they were thinking. like the whole "jacob" thing last night. but come on, they're on an island, you can only write a script for so long before it just gets boring and you have to do something to bring it back i guess
. i think this finale is going to be cool ***)

They call the show lost because everyone who watch's it is LOST. I watched the first two seasons and quit watching because it woun'nt go any were and the flashbacks were REALLY anoying so i used the power of my remote and CHANGED THE CHANNEL.
