It's bad when they shut the turnpike down.....322/422 a major highway/split is shut down to the road buckling....It's rough on the trucking industry.....Off today, and my buddy drives for FedEx and they had their guys report, but no clue how their getting their guys up to Poconos and towards Jersey......
I live over by the FarmShow, and the Susquehanna is already at 28.5' and flood stage here is 17' Should crest late tomorrow night or early Saturday morning around 30'........

Wilkes Barre is getting hit pretty hard. Seems like the rain keeps going to places that are completely saturated and the places that need it get nothing.

Gemmy I agree with you... it's like why not take half of the flood water and give it to a place that has a drought going on?

I think I am going to start an ark building business. This way I can be prepared for the great flood.

We haven't had rain here in IDK how long.......everything is either dieing or burning

+1
There have been fires all around us since Sunday, and we have heavy/choking smoke all nite/day, and it's "ashing" outside......Ashing is like snow - but it isn't white, it stinks, and when it gets damp, it'll form acids that ruin the finnish on the car.

We haven't had rain in a while but it was a slightly above average year here. The Aspen trees are already turning, could be a nasty winter.

It was raining this morning but it cleared up a little today! Some people who live near me lost power for a couple of hours but not me! Yay!
But, it's supposed to rain MORE on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday... at least there's a break in between!
This rain has really been affecting transportation... for the past couple of days roads have been closed... more than I remember.. and many trains are highly delayed or canceled...
LOL... Now people who are dealing with drought: feel free to come up here with a big tanker truck and take as much water as you like!
