This is the leather tree I bought a couple of weeks ago from SWF.....It is really nice, and growing more....branches

Nice leather tree Meowzer, are they a good coral for a beginner. Also in the first picture is that a sailfin tang? Excuse my newbyness.

In the reflection of the tank is a salfin. THe blue fish is a hippo tang.

LOL...IDK if they are good for a beginner.....I do KNOW they really don;t need any special care...so I guess YEAH
And yes...that is a sailfin in the reflection....and yup....the blue hippo

sorry. I meant to put in my last post that that was a very nice coral. But yesterday was cinco de mayo.

They require strong flow over them to continuously remove the cells that they shed and the mucous they produce. Also a good skimmer is a plus as the mucous tends to be on the aggravating side to other coral in the system.
