See, I was thinking that. Adding some 2x4 and 4x4s to the idea. Maybe trying some of those clear glass bricks along the top sides... that will be tough with the liner though....
Some sand. Some plaster. A lot of patience and time... Then a few bags of salt and a few buckets of water.
Simple really....

You'd probably want 2 or 3 layers of pond liner. A couple hundred pounds of jagged liverock has a way of tearing those liners.
