Tunze Turbelle Streams. They're pricey, but put out a lot of flow running on almost no electricity. The Streams I run in my tank put out 1850 gph on 15W.

Its crazy what those things can do. I had a Gemini that did about 1000 gph and used around 25 watts I think. Bad thing about those Tunze pumps is their so big and ugly. That's a plus for the Gemini's because only the impeller is in the water the motor is above the tank, still kind of ugly tho.

My RIO SEIO M820 "streams"

don't put out much heat at all for the amount of flow. Can't even hear it either.
