this thing is really creepy looking, I found it buried in one of my corals, just looking at it makes my skin crawl... can anyone id?

it was in a micromussa colony, and I just dug it out with the tip of a knife, it was apparently eating out the polyp from the middle out

Sorry I have no idea what that is, but if it was eating your coral, it's probably good that you got it out!! Have you checked your other colonies to make sure none of them are being damaged?
Dipping corals in Lugol's solution is supposed to help with parasites...I think....but you're gonna wanna wait for someone else to say that for sure lol.

I just picked one of them out of my toad not really sure what it was as you think some kind of tick just like sand fleas but once i got it out my fish sure liked it ate that thing right up...
