LR against glass?

Howdy,
have another question for yas.Anyone have any thoughts about stacking LR against glass on back of DT ?

Lots of people do it.
I like to have at least enough room for a mag float between rock and glass.
Better flow and less algea if theres that extra inch buffer zone. JMO

Is it better to have less algea even if its unseen?

yes as far as nusiance algae such as hair algae. I have my rocks stacked against my glass but have enough holes/caves that I have pretty decent flow behind my rocks.

More algea unseen can drag down your PH when lights go out.

Thats why my sump/refugium lights come on at night.
