LR and LS from saltwaterfish?

has anyone bought LR/LS from this website? how was the service? how many lbs of LS will i need for a 29g tank? One more question. Is it true that i do not rinse off either of these items when adding them to the tank...it will kill all the "live" out of them right? thanks for the help.

I havn't bought sand or rock from here,but trust me,,,many have and all have been happy.I have used the same sand as they sell here,and most will agree that it is the best on the market.For your tank I would get 30-40lbs of sand.And you should not rinse live sand or live rock...

I have purchased both LS and LR from here and the service/product was great. I agree w/Mr. Salty on the 40lbs of LS for your tank. And it is true that you should not rinse it before adding it... However, if you are adding the LR to an already established tank, you may want to cure it first. If you are setting up a new tank, just add it and it will cure in the tank and also help cycle it. Also remember not to let the LR dry out. If it dries completely, it will more than likely be dead. When I ordered my LR from here, the box broke open and leaked but the rock stayed damp because it was covered in newspaper. Hope I helped..
