If i were to put calurpa in the tank that i'm curing live rock in.. would it help it go faster?

If you put caulerpa in your main tank...and it adheres to your LR...you will most likely always have problems with caulerpa in your tank...
And I do not believe it would help the curing process...try heat, air, circulation and scrubbing the rock gently every couple of days...after you scrub...change 50% or so of the water...the heat will aid in die off to decompose...around 88 degrees is where I usually do it...sometimes even 90.
