lr curing

i'm currently curing about 100lbs of lr. i just started yesterday and it already is stinking horribly. when this happens should i do a water change or just let the skimmer keep running? i also have some p/h running in the water aswell. aabout how long should i cure it, until the rock itself doesn't stink anymore or around three weeks?

You can make up some water and rinse your rocks trying to shake off as much dieoff as you can or you can scrub it. You may consider a hang on filter to try to remove some waste.
Cure it until ammonia and nitrite are at zero (could take anywhere from 1-6 weeks).

You let it cycle like a tank. One cycle and it's ready to go.
I cured about 200 lbs once. I let it sit in the water for a week, pulled it out, scrubbed it off, rinced it off, did a water change and put it back in. The amonia goes through the roof when curring rock.
