I bought 45LBS of LR, which was already cured.
My question is, how long would it take for the water in the curing tubs to spike on Ammo, Nitrite and Nitrate?
Temp is about 80 degrees and one powerhead for movement......
Plz don't yell at me for not searching it first, i did..........
That's why i didn't post a ??? on how to cure it, i think.

Even though the rock is already cured it will likely still go through a cycle. It depends what is on the rock. It usually takes around 1-2 weeks for this to happen.
More information would be helpful. Are you curing this in a new tank hoping to cycle the tank -or- are you curing this and hoping to add this to an existing tank once it's cured?

Sorry..............
Curing it in two separate rubbermaid tubs hoping to add to a tank later when it's cured............
That's all the extra info i can think of for now.

I've done that before also.
Just wait a week and then test ammonia and nitrite. When both are 0 you can safely add to your tank.
Also, when it doesn't smell like rotten eggs your probably okay.
