I am intereste din placing an order for the lr that they sell on swf.com.
has any 1 ordered the lr from here?
post some pics?
and nice critters in there?
any one have a good/bad story with the lr from swf.com?
Please lmk, i really want to get my tank up.

I bought the 45-55 lb box in fact i have bought 2 of them and i love it it looks great and covered in coraline algee. I dont have any pics but would reccomend buying it

i have bought the 20-25 pound order from here twice. i was pretty pleased with the quality of the rock. however, i did get the rock + shipping = 20 lbs both times. there are other posts on this subject if you do a search.

Jonesy - ive always wanted to buy liverock from SWF but, i dont want to have to cure it myself. did you cure it? if so was it a pain? how did you do it at your home?

there is a huge informational thread about curing liverock on this site. someone will help me out i'm sure.

it is allsome rock, i ordered the 45-50 pounds and boy did this stuff have color, maybe there was not a lot of dieoff bc i live here in florida and took like 2 days to get here

I just love those kind of statements lfs make."pre cured".........it makes it sound to newbies they can order it get it place it in the tank and add fish and have p[resto instant reef tank......unfortunately it is more like semi not quite fully dead rock, or semi alive rock on life support.......it still needs to be cycled, and until its in a tank with 0 ammonia and nitrite levels, its far from being cured.....Who is to say when the rock you have in shipment was received or what conditions it arrives in, so to think your getting rock ready to go with is just not true no matter who sells it. Even rock bought locally is going to have some die off so its still got to "cure" just the same......
