LR Question

I noticed that there are little white puffs growing on some areas of the LR. They look like little mini cotton balls. Anyone know what this is?

I posted earlier "What is it", does it look like what is right above the crab in the picture? Someone thought it was a sponge of some sort.

Probably q-tip sponges,no problem. Can you post a pic?
