LR Turning rust color

After i added my LS let it settle blew off the LR TODAY I come home and it looks like rust spots. Whats going on?

Diatoms?? They would be more brown than red though.

A type of algae. How long has the tank been set up? What are your parameters?

About a month.The sand i added this Sat.. did ammonia test today it was0.25 salt is1.025

had the same problem. was told that i was leaving the lights on too long. so i cut back the light time and sure enough the rust color has slowly gone away.
