I am getting ready to start stocking my new tank and i just cant seem to decide if i should go with cured or uncured LR. I dont mind the extra work of the curing process, or the extra time it takes either. I just want to get it right the first time. Im looking at buying about 300lbs. I planned to cure the rock right in the tank.
Any thoughts, comments, or concerns would be greatly
appreciated.
The tank is a 250 gallon soon to be reef.

no fish or anything? and you are going to cure in the tank?
then get uncured or mail order, it will also cycle your tank at the same time
cured would only save you time, not really worth the xtra money, JMO

For a newly established display I'd definitely start with uncured and use the LR to cycle the tank. Its a great way to initiate the cycle...and normally cheaper. Especially if you are getting that much LR at one time.
