buy lr from a close lfs, after they have had it for two weeks then ask them to pack it in a bag full of water none of that wet paper towels stuff. thiss way they can do most of the curing prosses for you. let me know how it all turns out.

Ok a big thanks to sign guy with this help ....but I also like to seek out other opinions ....so does anyone else have an opinion on this ....should I do it in a slow process or can i just get a bunch of rock and do it all at once ... I think it will be hard to do it one rock at a time because you have to get to the bottom sometime and it would be hard to put on rock in and take on out because the rock that is in the tank is already stacked ?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Another option if you want to change out all your rock at once is to buy your rock and cure it in another container. Can be a rubbermaid tub, extra tank, whatever. Just put your rock in this container with a heater, a powerhead and saltwater and let the rock cure (cycle) in there. Then once the rock has cured you could add all of the rock to the tank at the same time and avoid a cycle in the tank.
