LS from Saltwaterfish.com

Does anyone have any information about the live sand offered on this website. I'm interested in purchasing LS, but am unsure if this sand is any better than that found at my LFS.
Thanks

IMO it is very similiar to the bagged Nature's Ocean but is a bit more diverse with grain sizes--meaning some smaller grains in addition to what you get with the standard Nature's Ocean sugar-sized sand.
I am very satisfied with it.

I bought some LS from swf and it has a ton of critters in it. It isn't a brilliant white, but it is a white sand and it is small grain sand.

Is everyone's experience with the sand purchase here is that it has beneficial critters in it? If so, I believe I will purhase some.
Thanks

The sand I bought was over a yr ago, and it was advertised as Fla Keys sand. I didn't get critters that I could see, but it came with water and was obviously bagged by SWF.com, not commerical bags like Nature's Ocean. I had zero cycle with a newly established reef using this sand, Nature's Ocean, and SWF.com LR. Also, the sand I got was pretty white once water was in the tank.
What kind of "critters" did you get?

There are a ton of worms and there are some other bugs that I can see. There's probably more that I haven't seen. I did however, have a little cycle when I added th sand into the tank.
