LS turning brown

My LS in turning brown. I think I have a pretty good clean up crew (bought a reef package from this site). The snails, crabs, and shrimp are doing okay with the LR and the glass. What is the best thing to add to keep the sand clean?

Looks like you have algae growth starting on your sand. What kind of snails do you have?
Nassarius, BumbleBee and Cerith Snails would be great for attacking the algae problem. Also, a Fighting Conch would be good too.

I have nassarius and turbo/astrea snails along with emerald and scarlet hermit crabs. I was thinking of ording a couple fighting conchs.

cucumbers? Not familiar with them. (for that matter there are a lot of things I am not familiar with). I will do some checking on them. Thanks

Cucumbers are good at cleaning. However, they can be toxic or venomous to the tank if they should croak. It'll probably be a safer bet to get a couple of fighting conch and some cerith snails.
