Hi,
I just bought a long tentacle anemone and it will not attach. I did turn the pumps off so there's no water flow and do have sand (although I did read I need way more, which I'm working on). Anyway I tried to dig a little hole for it and just left it overnight. When I woke up it was very shriveled. Is it dying? What do or should I do to help it ?! It won't let me upload a picture either or I would. It also appears to have a white almost protruding "cut"in the side of the foot. All and any help is appreciated!

Try emailing a pic to your self so it resizes then save to a computer. Then upload by pressing the upload file box at the bottom of the dialog box.

The torn foot is likely going to do it in. You will know pretty fast if it is going to die. Once in a while people do save them but that is way out side of my experience. I would contact the place you got it from and tell them the foot is damaged. That usually happens when it is removed.
