I have a LTA that came in a tank that I purchased from a -- member.. I dont have much knowledge of anemones.. But I did think that they needed MH lighting to survive.. But this tank only has power compacts.. It is a pretty large anemone and I dont plan on upgrading my lighting anytime soon so any suggestions would be appreciated.. If the anemone is not going to survive I will probably just sell it off because I want to do the right thing.. so fill me in!!
Thanks

How about tank size and number and wattage and age of bulbs.....
LTAs like to be in the sand so that means deeper for the light to penatrate.

6 watts per gallon of pc in the 37 conrner woudlnt even do the job...PAR is WAYYYY too low, and plsu the tank is deep. Go fro a mh perdant, just IMO. You can get them fiarly cheap nowa days

if it wasnt a corner 6watts is way to much light imo, i mgo with 3.5-4 for bubbletips, for a LTA maybe 4.5-5.5 w/g but a corner is much deeper, so i dont really know

My BTAs are four inches under the water directly below a 250 watt MH for 11 hours a day. I wonder how may watts that is when the rest of the 150gls tank or the other 2 bulbs means nothing to it......

That does not sound like near enough for the LTA in that tank. I do have a customer that has a huge one in a 75G he has had for years with a mated pair of GSM's that lay eggs constantly under PC's. He has 4X96W PC's on the 75G though.
