i am sure we can work out a deal, most of time, people just send a thermus and a few dollars for return shipping and what not. with a thermus, you can send via ground 2-3 day usps. done on here alot. i live in MD zip 20621. if you want to check on shipping, but it usally is around 6-8 bucks. let me know take care :jumping:

Sounds fake? I gotta say, I've seen black natural sand, and even some called "pink" because of a lot of crushed shells in it, but purple? Never heard of it.

Well i must say, everyone is always curious about my sand, well here you go :hilarious The sand is called MARINE SAND, it is made by ESTES. It is found in 5 lb bag's, for price's between $3 - $6 dollars a bag. The sand in my reef tank, is a mixture of the 15 bag's bright blue, and 10 bag's of salmon (orangish). Mix it all together and with the metal halids, it makes it look purple, in real life it is kinda blueish but still has a purple tint to it. SO
it is real, and it is very alive, been in tank for 2 years, lots of bugs and critters.

P.S. Someone please got any ideas of different FISH for the reef, thanx.

Very nice tank, I like the purple too.
I have an Eibli Angel in my reef and it has done very well for two years now. Interesting colors, doesn't eat the corals, very nice. It grazes on the algea and eats flake food well.

I thought it looked to uniform to coraline. It's interesting how your question keeps getting swept aside. It's just PURPLE SAND!
Anyway...........the FISH...you have a really good variety. I know I will probably get slammed for this but, I think a blue tang would be pretty in your tank. They are visually interesting and would bring alot of movement and color to your tank. But, he might be too big for the number of fish already in your tank. They grow so fast.

What about a flame tail blenny aka black and yellow blenny. I just got one and boy does it have a lot of personality.

Hey thanx for the input, I had a tiny tiny 1 inch blue hippo tang, he made it about a week, I got the hippo at the trade show, so much traveling i think stressed the hippo. I am looking for a bigger one, 3-4 inchs, I know the TANG police are out there, and yes I have personally seen many tanks, smaller than mine, have mulitple types of tangs with no porblems. I had a madarine for about 9 months, he disappeared. I know it was not food, as i personally drop live brine in front of him and he loved them. At night, you always see tons of cyclopods runnin around the tank. I like the Black goby, but i already have 2 gobys, dont need a 3 rd to fight .

I was thinking the same thing about the goby. I have an orange spotted goby. They are just really interesting. Do you have a royal gramma? Mine is the sherrif of the tank. Had him a couple of years, one of my first fish. He immediately made his home a hole in one of the rocks at the center of the tank. He sticks his head out and patrols when he thinks somethings up. He has also been known to chase and nip at the other fish. Your tank looks really nice by the way. What about a jaw fish? Do you know if they are compatible with your other fish......I think they dig a hole and sift sand like gobys.
