Hello,
I was thinking about getting this Lunar Aqualight 2x65W / 2 Blue-Moon (Coralife).
It comes with a 65 watt 10,000K and 65 watt True Actinic 03 Blue straight pin base compact fluorescent lamps and Two 3/4 watt Lunar Blue-Moon-Glow LED lamps.
Is this suffictant lighting for a 29g tank. right now its fowlr. It has one 10k and one 50/50 20w. each so I need something but better.
What kind of corals can be kept successfully under these lights, and is there a better option out there. Im trying to get the best that will fit in my budget, and my lighting budget is about 150-200. Thanks for any help you can give.

Funny i was looking at the same set up for my tank..
The guy at the LFS said 3 to 31/2 watts per gallon is good for all soft corals and most inverts.
So i have the same question as you.

Okay, 130W in a 30g tank = ~4 watts per gallon. Definitely enough for a FOWLR tank if that's exactly what it's going to stay. It should be enough for lots of softies, esp. mushrooms, some rics, xenia, etc. It is NOT enough for anemones, clams, any type of stony coral.
