lunar light qustion??

i just purchased a new hood and included with it are 4 lunar lights. I was wondering if i can keep these on all night? The box says 24 hours lighting but to me it seems that the fish are swimming around and not resting. i know this is a stupid question lol but I had to ask it.

I think your suppose to leave them on at night to simmulate the moon. You should see a pretty ripple a cross the top of the water, or so Ive heard. The power compact should have several cords, one for each set of lights. Probably have three cords. If you put all three on timers then you will have your 24 hour cycle.

Marcs what your looking for is to simulate real life lighting, so you have daytime lights and then come the moon lights, so you have 24 hr lighting. its really cool looking too!! todd
