Lunare Wrasse

I just bought a lunare wrasse. I wasn't able to get home for about an hour. Fish seemed fine in the bag. Once home I acclimated the fish for about 45 minutes. Once I placed the fish in my tank it huddled under my filter for about 5 minutes. I left the room for a few minutes and once back it had hid itself under a cave like live rock and it slightly burrowed under the sand. Is my fish okay or is it dying? Its been in the tank for about an hour.
I didn't notice the fish breathing heavy but its hard to tell now that its barely visible.
Any suggestion

It's a wrasse being a wrasse...many wrasses hide in the sand when sleeping, or as new specimens, and Thalassoma lunare is one of them. Give it some time, and let it become acclimated to its new digs.

Thanks for the reply. its doing fine. The next morning it dug itself into another pit. And came out to feed later that night. But went back. do they remain this anti-social

Nope...once the fish gets comfy it will be out and about, and in the evening, it will dive into the same spot at almost the same time each night. Actually, Thalassoma sp. wrasses can get a bit nasty if they're with peaceful fish.
