Luttuce Leaf Nudibranc

I have see conflicting informaiton saying that lettuce leaf Nudis will eat sponge on you live rock and others saying that they are algea eaters. Any definitive answers? Will they live long in a tank regardless?

They are algae eaters. I've never heard of one eating sponges, but I'm by no means an expert on them. Either way, from what I have read, most nudis have pretty short lifespans.

I have two of those nudibranch. They do not touch my yellow or orange sponge.

i have also never heard of them eating sponges. nudis usually have really specific diets, and they are definately algae eaters, so my bet is they wont bother sponges.
