Everything that I know and have learned is from off this site and from all of you and just want to say thanks for all the helpfull advise everyone has given me! On the last picture wat is my plate coral doing, there is like a web type material all around it? Thanks!

okay your doing a great job, but a plate coral should be placed on the sand bed as they are very sensitive to errosion from rock, just fyi.

Brown on the sand is a diatome bloom. how old is the tank? You should have that beautiful plate on the sand by the way.

Ok so you if I put the plate on the sand, will it hurt it if when it is fully out and wavy if it touches the glass? I won't have it touching any rocks but it is just like literally 9 inches around when it is fully out! Just wondering if this would be ok?
