Lyretail Naso

I've been looking at getting a Lyretail Naso. I purchased one (using the internet)and found that the it didn't have streamers.
Is the only difference between the Lyretail and the other Naso that one has streamers?I've noticed they have the same scientific name (Naso lituratus).
Also I've been told that the streamers can fall off during shipping, is this true?

with the streamers they can fall off during shipping but they will grow back if it is a mail the mail is the only naso that has the streamers.

Only the male naso has the streamers and the streamers don't form until the fish matures a bit (like fish adolesence). So you probably either got a female or one that is still young.
