aren't you supposed to "burn" the lights for 100 hours before use on the tank? ....but how if that is your main and only light source or MH any way?

i have T-5's and moon lights aswell.
I think it takes 100 hours for the bulb to reach correct kelvin color, but i could be wronge.

This is something I am wondering as I am about to buy some brand new bulbs.

I am just going to replace the bulbs and not worry about it. I may just replace one at a time. The bulbs are not bad yet, so it will be alright.
After all when I first got my lights I used the MH bulbs that came with the unit with no ill effects.
