MAC and PC question please!

Does anybody know what application do I use if I have a Mac to play .rar files or if its even possible? Thanx for any help!

Thanks John, but this is a PC file and not for mac..

Havent used WinRar too much but I'm guessing that even if you could decompress the .rar file that was created on the PC that your Mac might not open it anyway.

You are right Dragon, It wont open using anything,, thanks alot.

The newer versions of Stuffit should uncompress the file....then let us know what format the file you are trying to play is.

the file is a .rar file and im running mac osx 10.4.7 that is the latest! Thanx

You stated you wanted to "play" the file...a .rar file is nothing but a compressed archive....when it is uncompressed it will contain 1 file or it could contain thousands....nevertheless once uncompressed the files would then be playable.
