Not as far as speed, not enough to notice anyway. But the 2.16 may have a bigger RAM memory, hard drive and video card. If those are larger than that would be a difference to consider, but as far as speed alone, I dont think an normal person would even notice.
Are you gonna buy a macbook? I just got mine like 2 or 3 days ago, I'm so friggin excited about it!!

Thats great! How do you like it so far? What kind did you get?
Ive wanted one for a long time and my old Dell has just about had it. However, as a highschool student i have practically no money! But i have a deal with my parents to pay for half of it, so im saving up now.
At this point i was looking at getting either the 2.0 GHz or 2.16Ghz 13 inch MacBook, and then upgrading the memory to 2 GB and the harddrive to 200 GB, but im still looking into everything. Do you know what the difference is between a combo hard drive and the double layer superdrive? Thats the other difference between the two.

A combo will allow you to watch DVDs and burn regular cd's. A super drive allows you to watch and burn both cd's and DVD's.
How do I like it?? It's my favorite material possession (except my bike) to date. I had a mac desk top but I started school and wanted the portability so I got a laptop. Wouldn't you know it, my homework is not mac compatable, so I downloaded "Fusion" by vmware dot com and lookie what it can do... I'm so stinkin excited!

You need your own operating system to install and I had windows XP, and inside that little box, it works exactly like a PC desktop. Same stupid redundant pop ups, same everything!!
So cool.

Hey Tizzo, Question for you please. I would ONLY like MSN messenger to webcam with my girlfriend becasue she has a PC and the mac messenger DOES NOT SUPPORT webcam, only the PC version does. So I guess I would have to download the windows version of windows on my mac through this site? Virtual PC? or what is the exact link please? Kind Regards!

oh wow tizzo, thats amazzzzzing. Dont taunt me! And i know what you mean about needing Word and stuff like that for school. Thats why i need it to be able to run windows as well, for all my papers and powerpoints. That was the one thing that had me considering a PC over a MAc until i saw how well they were running Windows now.
Any other advice or suggestions you have about MacBooks or anything in general?

2 things...
one is that if you want to run both op systems you have to section off part of your hard drive to run it. basically what it means is that once you get a virus or something on the Microsoft side it kinda ruins the hard drive so you cant use that space for apple stuff. thats what the guy at the apple store said
also try to use a mouse as much as possible instead of the trackpad because the click tends to wear out on the trackpad so if you use a mouse you dont wear it out for when you need it
btw i have the 80GB with 1GB of ram and it is officially the best thing that has ever happened to me (at least in the top 5 lol)

It is a very small section of the hard drive to run the PC. And yes, it is susceptible to viruses, which is why I will only use it for my school assignments. Windows is a virus magnet and this is no different.
Which may be something to consider Miaheat.
Yahoo may be a better choice for you and your friend, but if you wanna find out more about what I have, I got it from the apple store sight, but the direct link is vmware dot com. But remember, it's cheap because you hafta have your own operating system disk.
I think virtual PC is all inclusive. But it's pricy

for what you just mentioned, powerpoints and word and all that, iWork would work for you.
I had to install some "set up wizard" for 'my math lab', and it was simply not mac compatible.
