Don't take this the wrong way Fitz, yes the tank is way to small for the tang, but that does not mean it will get ich and die. Why does everybody say that? From what I've seen small tangs usually hang out in the rocks most of the time. it seems when they get older they need to have the open swimming space. I do understand why people say these things and agree for the long run it's cruel to keep them in such small tanks. How can you say for sure it will get ich and die if it has proper care and water chemistry?

That is an odyssea 305w fixture. 1 175w MH, 2 65w Atintic Blue PCs.
I know there is a huge debate on the quality and what not of these lights, But I have had mine for a little over a year. The fans did go out on them, but they are very easy to replace. The price was awesome and my corals are doing phenomal. I can not complain.

i have the digital rebel xti- wish i had a macro lens though. one of the reasons i dont have a tank right now. I have to pay off my debt to my parents! For those who cant focus when they zoom in, get the rebel or one like it. Manual focus is a lifesaver for aquarium photographers!

i have a 30, right now it has ich, but in about a month and a half or so, do you think i could put a pair in it with a cinnamon clown and a coral banded shrimp?, i'm not worried about the clown, i'm worried about the coral banded shrimp. he seems to be really passive. i had him with like... 5 damsels and they loved hanging out with him. i'm starting to think my clown is attempting to host him, considering the fact that he follows him anywhere he goes at any time. my point is, do you think 2 firefish could go in a 30 extrahigh with ls and 27lbs of lr with a nice cbs?

as far as camera goes. Nikon has a new digital SLR out for 599 with two lenses. I would recommend it in a heart beat. Then go with a sigma 1:1 Macro lense for it. Sigma makes the same lense for different cameras.
Thanks again to all who have posted. I appreciate the response.
