Macro Rock?

I have heard this type of rock brought up a few times, but i am not sure what exactly it is. It seems to be dry but you still have to cycle it. What exactly is macro rock?

some brands, as sold by bulk reef are
"It is all natural calcium carbonate rock mined from domestic sources"
basically it is as you stated, dry rock that needs cycled.

I used this rock, works great, easy to break up and shape to your liking and its very eye appealing, ill show you an earlier picture of my tank with it.
